As part of preparations for the III International Forum REBUS 2025 "Digitalisation. Infrastructure", the organisers of the event took part in the XIX Russian Venture Forum, which is taking place on 9-12 April in Kazan. The visit to the key event of the technology industry was an important step in establishing a dialogue with investors, studying innovative solutions and integrating best practices into the future forum programme.
The Russian Venture Forum, which kicked off at the Kazan Expo IEC, gathered over 5,000 participants from 25 countries, including leading venture capital funds, startups and experts. The organisers of REBUS 2025 attended plenary sessions, exhibitions and networking sessions. Special attention was paid to breakthrough developments in digitalisation that can be adapted in construction and housing and utilities - the key topics of the upcoming REBUS 2025 forum.
Valery Falkov, Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, emphasised in his speech: "A technological breakthrough requires consolidation of efforts of all participants of the innovation ecosystem. The Forum serves as a platform for such a dialogue, helping to create companies capable of changing the future". These words are in line with the mission of REBUS, where the consolidation of efforts of the state, business and science will also become the basis for discussions.
Rustam Minnikhanov, Rais of Tatarstan, speaking at the RVF, noted the forum's role in forming international partnerships: "The country's competitiveness depends on the speed of innovation implementation. The head of the republic, who oversees the development of IT parks, Innopolis and SEZ Alabuga, confirmed the region's status as a centre of technological entrepreneurship. For the organisers of REBUS, this was an additional incentive to hold the event in Kazan, a city where digitalisation of infrastructure is already yielding real results.
Participation in the RWF allowed the REBUS 2025 team not only to establish contacts with potential partners, but also to analyse trends. For example, the emphasis on long-term planning in technological entrepreneurship, which Falkov spoke about, echoes REBUS' objectives in the field of sustainable development of territories. And the growing number of startups at the RVF (3 times more than in 2024) demonstrates the growing interest in innovations that can be applied to the construction industry.
Recall that the III International Forum REBUS will be held in Kazan on 3-4 July 2025 in the IT-PARK named after Bashir Rameyev. Bashir Rameyev. The event will bring together 2,500 experts from 65 regions of Russia and 25 countries to discuss digitalisation of infrastructure, territory management and training. "Digitalisation of all sectors is our serious priority. It is important that every resident feels the positive changes," said Rustam Minnikhanov, whose words define the forum's philosophy.
Participation in the RVF was another step for the organisers of REBUS to strengthen partnerships and form a programme that will bring together technology startups, investors and regulators to address key challenges in the construction and housing and utilities sectors. And Kazan, which has confirmed its status as an innovation capital, is ready to become a platform for dialogue that can change the future of cities.
