Innopolis discussed the possible integration of the city's digitalisation and tourism development objectives into the tasks of the international campaign

A strategic meeting of the organisers of the international campaign for young specialists in urbanism and digital technologies ArchITESN 2025 was held at Innopolis City Hall. The main topic of the talks was the development of competitive tasks for participants aimed at digitalisation of the urban environment. Special attention was paid to an unconventional approach - combining digital solutions with the development of Innopolis' tourist infrastructure. The event was held under the coordination of the REBUS forum, which was the key organiser of the project.
The meeting was attended by forum experts, representatives of the IT industry, urbanists and heads of specialised departments of Innopolis City Hall. Maria Yashenkova, a member of the organising committee of the REBUS forum, emphasised:

Kamp will bring together more than 100 participants from 25 countries, including BRICS+ and ASEAN countries. Half of them will be Russian specialists, while the rest will be foreign guests. As part of the programme, they will have to develop projects aimed at integrating digital services into tourism infrastructure: from smart navigation systems to platforms for personalised tours using AR technologies. Kamp is organised by the International Congress of Architects and Designers MKM ARCH in conjunction with the REBUS Forum.
‘Participants will face unexpected challenges,’ said Ildar Khuzziatov, head of the Executive Committee of Innopolis. - For example, how to turn locations into digital art objects or optimise tourist flows through digital technologies. This will require an interdisciplinary approach.
The organisers have outlined key areas of work:
- Development of digital solutions for the tourism cluster;
- Creation of interactive urban services and innovative MAFs;
- Training participants to work with AI and IoT in urbanism.
The next stage will be the involvement of leading architects, IT-developers, representatives of the tourism industry and city administration, developers and manufacturers of urban solutions in the project. The selection of participants will begin in the coming days through an open call for projects.
Kamp will take place from 1 to 5 July 2025 in Kazan. In addition to the competition programme, lectures from digital transformation leaders, workshops on managing smart cities and tours of Innopolis' technological facilities are planned.
REBUS emphasises that the event will become a platform for testing solutions that can be scaled to other Russian cities.
