The organising committee of the REBUS Forum, which will be held in Kazan this summer, held a working meeting with the moderators of one of the sessions from Semren & Monsson, a leading design and construction company specialising in the integrated development of territories and the creation of innovative architectural environments. The event was dedicated to discussing the programme, international cooperation and organisational issues of the upcoming forum.
‘The REBUS Forum will be a landmark event for the entire professional community,’ said Olesya Baltusova, assistant to Rais Tatarstan, programme director of the forum. - We are creating a platform where representatives of the authorities, business and expert community will be able to develop new approaches to the digital transformation of the urban environment. We will pay special attention to sharing experience with international partners who demonstrate impressive results in the field of smart cities’.
Andrey Petrov, Business Development Director for Russia and CIS, Semren & Monsson Group of Companies, presented the preliminary programme of his session ‘Digitalisation as a tool for shaping the architectural product’. Representatives of the Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Centre for Digital Transformation, Yandex, IMAGO, as well as leading developers and technology companies will take part in the discussion.
Maria Yashenkova, a member of the forum's organising committee, emphasised: ‘The involvement of international experts will allow us to adopt the best practices in the field of digital design and urban infrastructure management. This is especially important for the implementation of large-scale projects in Russian regions’.
In the coming weeks, the organising committee plans to hold a series of working meetings with other moderators and partners of the forum. The main attention will be paid to the formation of a practice-oriented programme that will bring together the best cases of digital transformation in architecture and urban planning.
This summer, the REBUS Forum will bring together more than 7000 in-person and online participants from Russia and 25 foreign countries. The event will become an important platform for professional dialogue about the future of cities and modern technologies in architecture.
