The topic turned out to be wider than two slots, and it is worthy of a separate conference, as I expected. The historical and cultural framework as a tool for managing heritage preservation and forming the content of tourist programs was lost among modern developments and macro-projects. We talked about the reasons, there was not enough time for discussion. Anton Finogenov, Director of Urban Environment Development of JSC “DOM.RF”, told about the concepts of development of the territory “Morozovsky Town” in Tver and the spatial development of the pilgrimage and tourist cluster “Arzamas - Diveevo - Sarov”. No less interesting is the large-scale project of ProGorod LLC (VEB.RF) “Big Volga” - it is a spatial strategy for the development of the tourism industry of 13 regions of our country as a single tourist macro-territory united around the great Russian river. Andrey Nikiforov problematized to us the necessity of docking the developments. Having accelerated, at the end of the second track, the moderators, the developer of historical settlements Svetlana Persova and Oksana Sargina from the Directorate for the Development of Natural Territories, and I stayed in the conference room to discuss our projects in Tatarstan - Kamsky Ustoi and Chistopol. Toward the end of the evening it became clear that it was necessary to plan a separate meeting with the developers of ProCity and the State Committee for Tourism. Because after all, we all need viable projects for the development of the territory, and we are ready to do feats for their sake.
