The first day of the forum was very busy! It started with a plenary session, where Rustam Minnikhanov, the Rais of Tatarstan, spoke, outlining the most pressing issues of agglomeration development in the regions of Russia and abroad, and was joined in the discussion by Nikita Stasishin, Deputy Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Russian Federation, experts from China and Egypt.
📎 The program was continued by the session “Historical and cultural framework of agglomeration - strategies of spatial and tourist development”: they discussed effective management of heritage preservation, formation of the content of tourist programs and much more. And the session “The role of spatial data in agglomeration development” became a platform for useful discussions on the importance of developing land and property relations.
🏢 The international brainstorming session “Youth perspective on the future of agglomerations” gathered a large number of interested participants. It was a joy to see young professionals full of ideas, ready to work, create, build! The participants shared best practices, made very interesting and far-sighted assumptions, made forecasts - in a word, they made an attempt to look into the future.
