Historical and cultural framework of agglomeration - strategies of spatial and tourist development

The session is devoted to social and historical-cultural potential in agglomerations, research and preservation tools, mechanisms of its popularisation and consideration in territorial development processes. Within the framework of this session it is planned to discuss the historical and cultural framework of agglomeration as one of the tools of heritage conservation management and formation of the content of tourism programmes.

The objectives of the session are to identify the main effects of taking into account social and historical-cultural heritage, to determine the methods of its accounting and identification, to formulate requirements and recommendations to the mechanisms of normative regulation and to organise the necessary interdepartmental interaction.
